Hey people, it is Thanksgiving Day! I’m happy with my extra day off, and I am planning to doing something fun that will probably involve a car trip and seeing something new in West Athens I haven’t seen yet.

On return from Holiday Village Sarigerme, Turkey my son and husband were still quite ill with gastric illness. A sample had been taken whilst away and had come back negative for Salmonella and it claimed it was a unknown bacteria. Our own doctor told us to keep hydrated and to be tested if symptoms continued. They did and on the 21st August the results came back to say that they were suffering from Salmonella and Cryptosporidium. I contacted First Choice to get them to inform the hotel as there was clearly a poor level of testing occurring. I was appalled to hear that First choice claim there were no cases of illness at the resort as we were with 3 other families and they all experienced similar problems across a month’s timespan and one family have completed Health forms as Cryptosporidium is a notifiable disease.

Hi,

I saw the article about Fathers Day, and think it is great that so many people are starting to think about plans. I am in a spot of Bother, it is also my Dads birthday on Fathers Day, which will mean double the celebration, and double the gift and card ideas I will need to come up with. we should all be thinking about we can do to treat our Dads. My Dad is very special to me so I am going to treat the whole family to a lovely meal out at Dads choice of restaurant – which I am sure he will enjoy! Sometimes I find that Fathers Day cards in the shops are so expensive, so I have found a free alternative. I came across a cool freeFathers Day eCard site which I quite like, there are lots of cards which I know my Dad will like. Whenever I go onto this site I always find new cards which I like, so it maybe worth giving it a try.
